Police are investigating two shootings in Winter Haven.
Officers say they happened Wednesday around the same area, but detectives are still trying to piece everything together.
Police say officers responded to Palmetto Avenue Northwest for the first shooting a little after noon and found a victim with a wound to his side and torso. His injuries were not thought of as life-threatening.
Police are still looking for the shooter.
